Sweet Leesie Topples Over the Hill
Elyse Boucher pretends she isn't
middle aged, but we all know the truth. Come help her live
through the trauma celebrate the passing of years.
And hey, wouldn't it be better
if she was topless over the hill?
Hosts: | Elyse Boucher (Merouda) & Michael Scott Lipscomb (Miguel) | Activities: Friday we celebrate by bumming around Summerfest, specifically to see Steve (the Creature) Polifka perform with the Freddie Lee Band. That's where we'll be and we'll be looking for you. If you want to go with us specifically, that we can all be sure to get there together, call us. Freddie Lee is performing at the Potowatomi Bingo Casino stage at 5:30 PM. More details can be found at the Summerfest page.J Saturday: yes, it's The Cocktail Party. Formal dress is appropriate but not required, theme dressing is also welcome. But show up in rags, so long as you show up.Bring the fixings for your favorite cocktail; you'll have to fight me for the Mai Tai's. An appetizer is always welcome but not required. If you want to help me cook, contact me for a suggestion, otherwise, bring what you'd like. The party starts at 7 PM; if you show up earlier, you're welcome, but you may get put to work.J Sunday: Brunch, 11 to 1. Show up earlier, stay later, but the cooking hours are limited. People who really love me will bring choco-covered stawberries and champange. In fact, just about any choco-covered fruit is all good, except cherries. As you know, I hate cherries.J RSVP's are strongly encouraged, because otherwise I'll cook enough for one hundred people to have at least one of everything. Stop me before I cook too much again! Call or mail to let me know which part(s) you're up for. Crash Space is available, and you can always pitch a tent in the yard. Directions: From the south: Take I94 to I894; bear toward Madison. Take 894 to the 76th Street exit. Turn north (right). Take 76th to Becher, turn east (right). Take Becher to 70th Street, turn north (left). We are the 2nd house on the southeast side of the street from the interesction of Rogers and 70th. From the East, West, North: Take your best route to I94. The exit you'll be looking for is between State Fair Park and Miller Park, so get on 94 and head in that direction. Exit on 68th-70th street. Turn south on 70th, and take 70th to National. Turn right (southeast) on National, and then immediately left, to head south on 71st. Take 71st to Rogers. At Rogers, turn left (east) and proceed to 70th. AT 70th & Rogers, turn right and park. (70th does not cross the railroad tracks; this is why you have to make the jog on to 71st). If you are coming up I43 from the southwest: Take 894 towards Madison, exit on National, heading northwest (a right from the bottom of the ramp). Follow National to Becher--it's a six corner intersection; take the soft right. From there, follow the directions for people coming from the south. We Can't Wait To See You! |
